My name is Emilie Coon, I am born and raised in Ocean Beach, San Diego, CA. Graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Psychology and Computer Science and now currently serve as an Ocean Lifeguard I with the City of San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and work at Institutes of Health at their PTSD clinic for first responders.
I have been making jewelry for five years now — what started as an idea to make homemade presents soon became a mode to share my creativity with a large group of people. Ocean Strand Jewelry skyrocketed after I became the first independent student vendor at Loyola Marymount University’s Wellness Wednesday. Since then I have had the joy of selling at markets all over Southern California, from Ventura to Los Angeles to Orange County to my home town of San Diego.
Ocean Strand Jewelry is now sold exclusively online and at Clementine Shop OC at the Shops at Mission Viejo.
